Definitions

The “Client” or “Clients” is defined as the person, organisation or company booking the Photobooth equipment for hire with Pixel Blast Photobooths.

The “company” is defined as Pixel Blast Photobooths, trading as “Pixel Blast Photobooths”.

The “equipment” is defined as the Photobooth itself, computer, lighting, power sources, printer and all accompanying items relating to the hire.

Terms and Conditions

1.1 Your booking is not confirmed until you receive a booking confirmation letter or email from us.

1.2 By placing an order with us either verbally or via e-mail regardless of whether a booking form has been returned or deposit paid it is deemed that the customer has read, understood, fully agreed to and is bound by all our terms and conditions of hire.

1.3 In the event that Pixel Blast is not ready to commence at the agreed time due to our fault, then we will still operate the agreed hire period by extending the finishing time of the hire (venue permitting). In the event that the hire does not start at the agreed time, as setup has been delayed due to any unforeseen circumstances that are no fault of Pixel Blast, then the hire will still end as per the agreed time on booking form. In the event that we have set up in time but the hire does not start at the agreed time due to over running of previous activities by you or venue, the hire will still end as per the agreed time on booking form.

1.4 Pixel Blast cannot be held responsible for any circumstances that may prevent us from attending your event; these may include but are not limited to severe weather conditions, traffic delays, breakdown of our vehicle(s), sickness or equipment failure. In the case that we cannot attend or fulfil your hire due to events beyond our control we will contact you or the venue as soon as possible. In these instances our liability will be limited to refunding all of monies paid.

1.5 Failure to follow the terms & conditions will result to cancellation of the event/legal procedures.

Prices, Deposit & Balance Payments

2.1 All hires are subject to a deposit of £100.00 (Deposit is non-refundable) or dependant on agreement made by a member of the Pixel Blast staff verbally or by email. This deposit will be deducted from final hire total shown in an Invoice.

2.2 The remaining balances to be paid in full and cleared 30 days prior to the event start date. If the operator uses the equipment for a time period in excess of the service period agreed, the coverage in rental time will be billed to the operator and must be paid before additional hours are provided.

2.3 The company’s advertised prices are subject to change without prior notification.

2.4 Pixel Blast reserves the right to charge interest on all overdue accounts at 8% (per annum) above the Bank of England’s’ base lending rate in accordance to late payment legislation.

2.5 Hire Charges include setting up the booth; 1 to 1.5 hours before it becomes active. If the booth is required earlier, additional waiting charges may occur.

2.6 If the client requires Photobooth Hire to be set up earlier then additional waiting charges will incur. Refer to a member of the company for costs.

2.7 All payment methods are discussed in email correspondence, please note charges of £15 for admin incur when paying by cheque. BACS payments are free of charge.

Cancellations

3.1 If for any reason you wish to cancel your Photobooth hire, written notification must be provided, any cancelled hire is subject to the following charges below:
• Within 8 weeks prior to the event – 25% of confirmed hire total
• Within 6 weeks prior to the event – 50% of confirmed hire total
• Within 4 weeks prior to the event – 75% of confirmed hire total
• Within 2 weeks prior to the event – 100% of confirmed hire total

Equipment

4.1 The company reserves the right to substitute hired equipment with equipment of a similar type and value without notice in the event of previous damage or loss of booked equipment.

4.2 All equipment remains the property of Pixel Blast Photobooths, no equipment is to leave the Photobooth, if so client is subject to recover costs of lost, damaged or stolen property.

4.3 All sizes quoted are approximate.

4.4 No food or drink is to be consumed in the Photobooth. If food or drink enters the Booth, the client is subject to recover costs of replacing or cleaning equipment if damaged or stained. If guests ignore the company staff, we have the right to remove and ban guests and reserve the right to close the equipment

4.5 All goods remain the property of the company at all times.

4.6 The company reserve the right to amend or alter any product specifications without prior notice.

Site Location, Facilities & Conduct

5.1 Hired equipment will be set up in one location only as agreed on arrival and will not be moved once set up. Please ensure there is sufficient space at your venue to set up the photo booth.

5.2 Pixel Blast Photobooths require access to a standard 13amp plug within 5-10m for the photobooth and all equipment to function correctly.

5.3 Please ensure that you have obtained permission at your venue to use the photo booth.

5.4 Please inform us of any circumstances that would make setting the booth up more demanding, including going upstairs, long distances from unloading area to venue etc. We allocate a set period of time for setting up our equipment at your venue which is included within your price, but if there are any complications that are not made known to us beforehand then unfortunately this will come out of the run time.

5.5 The client is responsible for ensuring that suitable security and crowd control measures are in place prior to start of event.

5.6 The company reserves the right to cease operation and remove hired equipment from site if at any time a representative of the company feels that guests or clients conduct endangers the safety of the guests, clients, themselves or the safety of the hired equipment. In such cases no refund will be given and full contracted fees will be due to the company.

5.7 Pixel Blast reserves the right to refuse guests admission into the photo booth if our team feels they are too abusive towards staff or other guests.

5.8 The company is not responsible for site location’s lighting affecting Photobooth images. The client is to liaise with venue to ensure the Photobooth is in a well-lit and adequate sized area

Liability & Insurance

6.1 The client agrees to cover the company for any damage or theft of the company’s equipment whilst on hire.

6.2 The company has public liability insurance and is happy to provide the client with a copy of the insurance certificate upon request.

6.3 The client must ensure the venue of choice meets Pixel Blast insurance public liability cover amount. If client has failed to find this information, Pixel Blast has the right to terminate booking.
6.4 Any third parties participating in your event, the client is to accept any liability to any damage, theft of any of the company’s equipment. If the client refuses to accept liability within 7 days, the company will commence legal proceedings.

6.5 The company accept no liability for any damage or loss of personal property and or any injury arising from the use of the hired equipment.

All other terms and conditions

7.1 Pixel Blast may use any of the photographs from your event for suitable means; this includes but is not limited to advertising and promotional material either in print or on the Internet. Attending your event would mean you agree Pixel Blast have the permission to do so by yourselves and your guests.

7.2 Copyright on all material is owned by Pixel Blast Photobooths. All rights and permissions allow Pixel Blast Photobooths permission to copyright and to reproduce or otherwise use any photographic material. Usage may include any social media site or magazine/leaflet for the purpose of illustration, promotion, advertising or any other purpose.

7.3 By paying deposit amount and hiring a photo booth from Pixel Blast means you agree to all of our Terms and Conditions.
